1. Design a product or service with consumers in mind. A product that is unneeded or arbitrary won't generate loyalty, regardless of sleek design or catchy slogans. Your product must also live up to its name --- if consumers are disappointed in goods or services, they might shop elsewhere in the future.
2. Make your brand more convenient to purchase than other brands. Sell your product online, offer bulk discounts, maintain a user-friendly website, deliver the product directly to the customer or put in a drive-through window for food service.

3. Encourage repeat purchases. Offer a discount at the point of sale for future purchases, implement a rewards program or offer a chance to win a prize.
